ShopGirl Concierge is owned and operated by Lin Pruett. For the last 30 years, Lin has lived and worked in Reno or at Lake Tahoe – except for a few years when she lived in the Los Angeles, California area. She has skied at all of the Tahoe resorts, hiked all of the local trails, rafted all of the rivers, dined at all of the area restaurants, and shopped at ALL of the stores. Lin knows Reno/Tahoe

Lin is a hopeful romantic. She believes in flowers and music and memories that last a lifetime. Some of her favorite assignments are those involving creating memorable experiences for her clients – whether involving fine dining and a show, a beautiful hike and picnic, or an at-home massage and personal feast prepared by a private chef. Lin knows romance.

Lin’s clients generally have one of the following problems – either their time is too valuable to spend on the mundane tasks in life, or they have specific needs but do not know where to turn for help. Lin formed ShopGirl Concierge in order to provide superior service for both types of clients, by combining her local knowledge with her affinity for shopping and her love of romance. As a result of her participation in the International Concierge & Errand Association and the contacts she has established by attending the annual meeting, Lin can also assist clients with their needs in other parts of the world. She is pleased to bring to the Reno/Tahoe area the type of lifestyle that is typically found only in bigger cities.

At an early age, Lin found an affinity for shopping. She stays up to date on the current trends in fashion, home décor, electronics, and has a natural sense of style. Over the years, her friends and relatives often relied on Lin’s natural talents for gift shopping. Through experience, she has honed her skills at finding rare, hard-to-get, or unique items. As the mother, Lin also spends plenty of time shopping for food, clothing, household goods and fashion accessories. During her 3 decades as an enterprising Reno/Tahoe local, Lin has developed many business contacts and other valuable resources that benefit her clients, often in the form of negotiated discounts or value-added services.
